DRINKS

German Beer Warsteiner

With 265 years of existence, Warsteiner beer is emblematic of Germany. The country’s 3rd largest brewery since 1984.
This refreshing Pilsner-style lager reveals notes of malt, flowers and a very slight bitterness. A perfect accompaniment to aperitifs, cold meats and, of course, sauerkraut.
During this special OKTOBERFST event, Elise’s table will be serving German wersteiner beer on draught in 50cl pints, so you can enjoy it in the best possible conditions.

Alsace wine Riesling - Domaine Hugel

The Hugel family owns a 30-hectare estate on the best terroirs of Riquewihr, mostly classified as Grand Cru. The Hugel estate is composed exclusively of noble Alsatian grape varieties, with vineyards approaching 35 years of age.
Vin de repas par excellence, ce Riesling sec se distingue par sa finesse et sa droiture et saura vous démontrer qu’il est le plus noble des cépages blancs. Il est le vin de référence de Famille Hugel.
Produced from predominantly clay-limestone plots around Riquewihr and south of Colmar, this Riesling was harvested exclusively by hand. This Alsace wine has a brilliant green color. Straightforward and floral on the nose, it offers notes of lily of the valley, elderflower and light citrus zest.

what is OKTOBERFEST?

In French-speaking countries, we associate OKTOBERFEST with the Oktoberfest, but what about in Germany and more precisely in Munich, the birthplace of the OktoberFest.

There, the OKTOBERFEST is called Theresienwiese (meadow festival), and is the world’s biggest funfair, lasting from the first Saturday of the 2nd fortnight in September to the 1st Sunday in October. Created on October 12, 1810, Oktoberfest celebrates the festivities that followed the marriage of the future King, Ludwig 1st of Bavaria, to Princess Therese of Saxe-Altenburg.
